By using Now Playing you agree to the terms below. They're meant to be readable; if anything is unclear, email us.
Now Playing ("the Service") is an independent application that connects your Spotify account to your Slack workspace and synchronizes your Slack custom status with the track Spotify is currently playing.
You need active Spotify and Slack accounts in good standing. You must be old enough to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction (typically 13+, sometimes higher).
Now Playing depends on Spotify and Slack APIs. We have no control over those platforms; if they change, break, or revoke access, parts of the Service may stop working. We're not liable for downtime or data loss caused by third-party services.
The Service is free for personal Slack workspaces. Paid tiers for larger organizations may be introduced in the future; we'll give existing users notice before any change affects them.
You can stop using the Service at any time by revoking access from Spotify or Slack. We can suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service, violate these terms, or place undue load on the system, with notice where reasonable.
The Service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Now Playing and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top and announced where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes that can't be resolved informally will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction.
